Celebrate America 250 with the Odessa Texas Stake on July 4, 2026!

Start the morning with a 9:00 AM flag raising and pancake breakfast at 4805 Gateway Street, then join us for the softball tournament ⚾ at 10:00 AM at 3801 Bluebird Ln.

Join us for a free rebroadcast watch party of the Choir’s special Hollywood Bowl benefit concert celebrating 100 years since their first performance there in 1926. Featuring guest artists Donny Osmond, David Foster, Katharine McPhee, Stephanie J. Block, and Sebastian Arcelus. The original concert benefits charities serving women and children.

Watch party streaming begins Friday, June 26, 2026, at 7:00 PM at 4805 Gateway St. in Midland. Admission is free.

Acompáñenos a una transmisión gratuita de la retransmisión del concierto benéfico especial del Coro en el Hollywood Bowl, que celebra 100 años desde su primera presentación en 1926. As part of the America 250 celebration, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and JustServe are supporting a nationwide effort by donating 250 truckloads of food to 250 food banks across all 50 states. We are grateful that the West Texas Food Bank was selected as one of them!!!

Hal Mead, President of the Odessa Texas Stake, spoke at the event and shared that while the donation is significant, its real impact is in how it supports the steady, everyday work already happening at the food bank.

The West Texas Food Bank continues that work each day by coordinating distribution, partnering with local agencies, and making sure food reaches those who need it most. This donation builds on that foundation and helps extend its reach even further.

A special moment from the day was the presentation of the Heart of Service Award to CEO Libby Stephens, recognizing 15 years of dedicated leadership.

It’s also a good reminder that there are always ways to step in and help locally. For those looking for ideas, JustServe.org is a simple place to find volunteer opportunities in your own community.

Hello, All!

We have had the Literacy Coalition of the Permian Basin reach out to us for HELP! They need at least 15 more people to sign up to help pack power bags given out to local hospitals!

This is a fun, easy going service project for all ages and breakfast is provided! Please sign up though by clicking the link below or using the QR code on the flyer so they know how many people are coming. I would LOVE to be the resource they know they can turn to for extra spots when they are struggling for volunteers! Thank you in advance!!!

"Coloring during morning conference, with their Jesus figures close by! Given at the “Always Remember Him” event. My kids love them and brought them out to watch conference all on their own. Grateful for the event and the care that was shown to include the kids. (And to the parents in the trenches trying to get their kids to sit quietly and watch conference, it gets better!)"
