🚀 VBS STARTS TOMORROW! 🚀

It’s not too late to join the fun at St. Luke’s UMC’s Maker Fun Factory VBS!

VBS is FREE and open to all children ages 3+ (potty trained) through elementary school.

This week is packed with hands-on experiments, unforgettable Bible adventures, exciting games, fun snacks, music, crafts, and take-home Sciency-Fun Gizmos that kids will enjoy long after VBS is over!

At Maker Fun Factory, kids will discover that God made them and that God has a purpose for their lives.

Parents, there’s no need to bring a thing. Just send your kiddos with their imagination and a big smile!

Today, we join together in prayer for our Midland community.

We pray for peace in the midst of fear, healing for those affected, comfort for those who are hurting, and unity in the days ahead.

This week, our St. Luke’s elementary kiddos are taking it to the streets for Kids on a Mission!

Serving has no age limit, and we love seeing these young students live out their call to love and serve others. This week, they spent time at A.M.O.S., where they sorted food, stocked shelves, and helped prepare resources for families in our community.

We are so proud of these children for using their hands and hearts to make a difference and share God’s love in practical ways. What a beautiful reminder that you are never too young to serve! 💙

This week, members of the Horizon Texas Conference gathered in Wichita Falls for Annual Conference, a time of worship, fellowship, learning, and conducting the business of the church.

The theme, Love Boldly, was woven throughout the week, with a special emphasis on young people as both the present and future of the church. It was encouraging to see so many youth and young adults actively participating in leadership and ministry.

Conference by the numbers:
• 1,156 delegates (540 clergy and 616 lay members), along with many guests
• 13 newly ordained clergy
• 2 orders recognized
• 10 commissioned toward ordination
• 70 years of celebrating the ordination of women
