Want a foolproof way to see Christ? Try this. 👀

Close your eyes for a second. Now, turn to the person on your left. Open them.

Now, do it again and turn to your right.

Finally, go look in the mirror.

That reflection? The person sitting next to you? That is the real presence of Christ in the world.

What happens at the altar during the Eucharist isn’t just a moment in time—it’s a transformation. It makes Christ’s living presence part of who you are.

Even in our brokenness and our struggles, his presence is there—infinitely healing, merciful, and loving.
Imagine what our world would look like if we believed in the “Real Presence” of Christ in the people around us as much as we do in the bread and wine. 🌍✨

Look for him today. He’s closer than you think.

Today we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ— a beautiful reminder that Jesus is not distant from us, but truly present in the Eucharist.

In today’s Gospel, Jesus declares: “I am the living bread that came down from heaven.” What began with the multiplication of the loaves leads to this deeper revelation: Jesus himself is the Bread of Life. In the Eucharist, we are not simply remembering him—we are receiving him. His Body and Blood nourish us, unite us to him, and make us one body in Christ.

This mystery is especially meaningful for us as we celebrate our parish feast day. Today is not only a solemnity for the whole Church, but a special day of joy and gratitude for our parish community. Under the title of Blessed Sacrament, we remember who we are called to be: a people gathered by the Eucharist, formed by the Eucharist, and sent out from the Eucharist.

As a parish, may we never take this gift for granted. May our feast day renew in us a deeper love for Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and a stronger commitment to be his presence in the world.

✨ Reflect: How is Jesus inviting you to grow in love for the Eucharist?

👉 Call to action: Join us in celebrating our parish feast day with gratitude and joy. Come to Mass, join us for our Taste of Summer bike ride at 1:00pm, find a way to help someone today, and ask Jesus to make our parish ever more united in his love and help us to be his presence in the world.

How do we turn diversity into strength?

Pope Leo answers: through listening and dialogue. Through recognizing that our different voices and visions aren't a problem to solve—they're a resource to harness.

We're reminiscing on first communion weekend as we prepare to celebrate the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ this weekend!

Back in May, we welcomed 18 children to the Sacrament of Eucharist! Welcome Archer, Addison, Cooper, Jack, Bentley, Adelyn, Lillian, Maximus, Mia, Stephen, Jack, Ava, Audrey, Alexander, Cora, Colton, Jemma, and Maximus.

Let us continue to keep these kiddos and each member of the Body of Christ in our prayers this weekend.

Lord Jesus,
Bless the children who received Holy Communion for the first time and those of us who have received many times.

May each step we take to the altar be a step into a life-long love of the Eucharist.

Give us a hunger for this sacred food so that we turn to You for comfort, guidance, and wisdom as they grow into full discipleship. Give us an eagerness to receive
Your Body and Blood to go forth and be the Body of Christ in the world.
Amen

God’s timing is not late. It’s perfect.

“You can’t give God deadlines.” — St. Padre Pio

Today, surrender the timeline. Trust the process. Let God work in the waiting.

The Catholic Church has a “logo.” ✝️

It’s our “not-so-secret handshake.” We use it to start prayer, to bless our meals, and to identify ourselves in a crowd.

But the Sign of the Cross is more than just a habit. It tells the truth about who we are:
1️⃣ God is relational. (Father, Son, and Spirit in one).
2️⃣ We are relational. We were never meant to be “lone wolf” Christians.
3️⃣ It’s not just “me and God.” It’s “US and God.”

Next time you make the Sign of the Cross, don’t let it be rote. Remember: You are marked as a child of a God who is Love, and you belong to a family that stretches across the world.

Just over thirty people attended author Kathy Osberger’s visit, during which she shared her experiences as a young adult volunteering at a school in Chile where the religious community was secretly sheltering dissidents from the Pinochet dictatorship. Throughout her presentation, she highlighted the courage and strength of the clergy and religious women who chose to act on their belief that all people have value and deserve to be treated with dignity. That same willingness to help was later extended to her by the people of Chile when the tables were turned and she became a refugee fleeing the dictatorship’s secret police.
