Elias Yuri Tewksbury, son of Alexander & Kayleen was born at 11:55am on August 29, 2026. Eli, a beloved and beautiful child of God spent 30 minutes in the arms of his loving parents before entering into the arms of Jesus, His Lord and Savior. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at the Floyd Church of God with Pastor Steve Guick officiating . Family visitation will be at 9:30am with funeral service beginning at 10am. In lieu of flowers, please consider giving to the LifeClinic Community Resources. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Smith-Miner Funeral Home for their caring and compassionate heart during this difficult time.

Floyd Church of God friends....the bridge over here by the church on South 8 mile is closed until the end of August for repairs. It looks like all roads off South 8 Mile Road are being detoured to Meridian Road and up to Chippewa River Road to get to church. So please plan accordingly when coming to church on Wednesday's and Sunday's that you will not be able to cross the bridge on South 8 Mile Rd.
