DO WHAT IS GOOD

You may say, "I'm not a teacher." But the truth is, you are. You are a teacher to everyone you meet. You teach with your smile, your words, and the way you live your life. Think about how you teach others in your life. How do you teach your friends? How do you teach your family? How do you live your life and how does that instruct others in how to live theirs? Do you show integrity? Is your life consistent with your faith? Is your speech serious and sound? Does the way you live your life encourage others to follow Jesus? Take a few moments to consider how you teach. Lift up your eyes to realize how many people are influenced by your life and behavior. Ask God to show you where you need growth. Every day you are sowing seeds; make certain you are sowing into the Kingdom of Heaven.—Kingdom Come Devotional

I was driving this week when I began to ponder the thought of what a commission is. I was thinking about the Great Commission in Mark 16: 15–18, but I’ve never really thought about the meaning of the word “commission.“ I thought of it more as an instruction, but it’s more than that! It is the act of granting certain powers or the authority to carry out a particular task or duty. Did you get that??? THE ACT OF GRANTING CERTAIN POWERS OR THE AUTHORITY TO CARRY OUT A PARTICULAR TASK OR DUTY! The last assignment Jesus gave us when he left this earth was the Great COMMISSION! Read it in Mark 16: 15–18.  See if it speaks to your heart about our responsibility to fulfill the duty that he left with us, with his full AUTHORITY and POWER to carry it out.❤️🙌
