If you’re wondering what to do this Sunday, come gather with us. Not because God is keeping score, but because Jesus is still forming a people who learn His love together. Church is a table, not a test: a place to be welcomed, to breathe, to sing, to pray, to hear good news, and to remember that we’re not carrying life alone. If you’re tired, bring your tired. If you’re hopeful, bring your hope. If you’re unsure, bring your questions. We’re making room for you, and we believe the Spirit meets us when we choose presence, hospitality, and the slow work of shalom. Worship begins at 10:30 AM, and you can find us at 1123 East Wheeler Street in Midland, MI.

Heavenly Father,

As we step into this new year, we come to You with open hands. We don’t know what 2026 will hold, but we know Who holds us. So we ask You to steady our hearts, quiet our fears, and teach us to trust You one day at a time.

Form us into a church that looks like Jesus. Make us gentle and courageous, humble and strong. Deliver us from shallow religion and give us the real thing: faith that obeys, love that serves, mercy that forgives, and hope that doesn’t quit. Where we have grown distracted, re-center us. Where we have grown tired, renew us. Where we have grown cold, warm us again with Your Spirit.

Bless the marriages, families, and friendships in our church. Heal what is strained. Restore what has been broken. Give us the grace to listen well, to apologize quickly, to reconcile deeply, and to carry one another’s burdens without shame or pride.

And Lord, make us a blessing to our community. Open our eyes to the poor, the lonely, the grieving, the overlooked, the stranger, the struggling, and the forgotten. Give us wisdom to do justice, courage to speak truth, and compassion to love with our hands as well as our words.

Lead us in worship that is honest and joyful. Make Your Word living among us. Teach us to pray like children who believe their Father is good. And help us follow Jesus together with steadiness and joy, not just on Sundays, but Monday through Saturday too.

We give You this year. Do what You want in us, and do what You want through us, for the glory of Your name and the good of Your world.
