“We love because He first loved us.” We are showing our love in two ways this Valentine’s Day. First our love for each other as we packed Valentine goodie boxes for each shut in and each family for delivery or pickup. Next we wanted to show love to others so we started a soup (and other canned goods) drive. The boys from MPBA that practice in our gym brought cans to practice, our Congregation brought cans and member Ken Weite secured a 100 can donation from Wyckoff Stop and Shop!

Our lights were on and our bell was rung in memorial for all who have died of Covid in the United States. We joined with people all over America to grieve our loss and to pray for an end of this Pandemic.

November was a month of giving at Faith. We collected money for Star of Hope’s Thanksgiving boxes and filled shoe boxes in cooperation with Friendship Ministers for Operation Christmas Child. Now it was time for us to remember our shut ins and members and to remind us of our unity even when we are apart. We packed Thanksgiving boxes with an Advent Devotional, a battery candle and some treats. In this way as we all read the same Bible reading each day with our candles lit, we pray we can feel the love from God and each other.
