WATER \ H2O \ - So basic, yet so essential. Before anything else, the Spirit moved over the face of the deep (water). After the Spirit moved, the earth was formed - 2/3 water. Then God created man - 2/3 water. Join us at Faith Church this weekend as we learn more about WATER.

It's been an awesome week! Let me provide a few sentences in the way of background. Over the past few months, my nightly power walk was diminished to a powerless step. I'm exaggerating but not by much. So, last Monday, I experienced one of those nuclear stress tests and a week later, I was receiving a stent to repair a blocked artery. Twenty-four hours following the surgery, I was back home and this evening ... I just finished my power walk! Our God is an Awesome God! You'll have to meet me at Faith Church this weekend to hear the rest of the story.

You'll find executive summaries/Cliff notes of our most recent teaching series'. Meanwhile, here's something to think about. TAKE THE RISK! Remember the three stewards who were each given a sum of money to invest? The first two doubled theirs; the third buried his in the ground. The first two were promoted; the third was fired. "Get rid of this 'play it safe...won't go out on a limb' (Mt 25:30). Aubrey

Here's a little love from your Pastor: I hope by now everyone knows that Faith Church now has a TEMPORARY new home. After almost 5 years on the former campus of Aldersgate UMC, we've moved directly across the Street to UCP's LINC Point building at 101 Oslo Circle just off Sydney Drive. Spring Valley School for children with special needs is now renovating our old campus just in time for students in just a couple of weeks. Blessings to principal, Laura Fiveash, along with her entire team as they begin this new chapter in the history of their school. We believe that this move has been a blessing to Aldersgate, Spring Valley, UPC, the Oxmoor Valley and to Faith Church.
This weekend, we have 2 exciting growth and worship opportunities to tell you about: This Saturday, we're offering our 2nd Super Growth Track event. Beginning at 8:30, we'll open with Session 1 (Knowing God) and follow with sessions 2, 3 and 4 and end with lunch at 12:15. So, if you want to learn more about Faith Church, or if you just want to know how to know God, how to connect with the Church, how to discover your purpose or how to make a difference, Super Saturday Growth Track is for you. Join us Saturday at 101 Oslo Circle at 8:30.
Finally, the Sunday teaching will continue with the theme introduced last weekend, "Your Greater is Coming". This Sunday, we'll look at the beating required before an olive will give up its oil. We too will be beaten and the subject is "Prepare Yourself". You'll be surprised at how this teaching unfolds.
