Peace Church

Peace Church Gospel Centered | Family Focused | Kingdom Minded We are led into worship by our praise band, singing a blend of Church classics and current music.

Peace Church is a welcoming evangelical church in the West MI area that loves God, believes the Bible and wants people to have a real relationship with Jesus. Our vision is to become a Biblically–centered community of faith where everyone, empowered through prayer, is equipped to know Christ, grow in Christ, worship Christ, serve Christ and share Christ. Whether you are someone seeking answers abo

ut God or a committed Christian who wants to grow deeper in your faith, we want you to know there is a place for you at Peace Church. Our Sunday morning worship services are a time to meet together, glorify God and encounter his life-transforming truth. Our sermons dig deep into Scripture and strive to connect God’s eternal Word to our everyday life. We welcome everyone to join with us, whether you are a life-long Christian or a skeptic seeking answers. Lastly, we encourage a relaxed atmosphere. So, whether you are in jeans and a t-shirt or all dressed up, we want you to feel comfortable!

Peace Church Family — we are so excited to introduce you to and announce that Pastor Jon Holman has accepted our invitation and God’s call to become our Worship Pastor. Pastor Jon is married to Bekah, and together they have three children, Ezra (6), Rowan (2), and Amelia (9 months).

In addition to Pastor Jon, you will continue to see our talented team of worship leaders still using their gifts, and we are excited to see how God will use Pastor Jon’s passion and leadership to further His mission here at Peace Church. Pastor Jon is joining our staff to oversee our worship, production, and communications teams.

Pastor Jon and his family will be taking the month of June to move from Ohio to West Michigan, and he will begin serving on staff shortly after the Fourth of July. Please be praying for the Holman family as they move and make a new home at Peace Church and in West Michigan.

A Common Mistake People Make About Heaven

05/28/2026

What is truth? Who then can be saved? Are you really the king of the Jews?

How did Jesus answer these questions? Join us Sunday at 8:00, 9:30, or 11:00AM as we begin part one of our summer sermon series "Questions: The ones Jesus was asked."

Are You Good Enough To Get Into Heaven?

If your honest answer is "I don't know, I hope so," that response reveals something important about what you actually believe.

It means you think getting into heaven depends on how much good is in your life, or how much good you do.

That belief has a name: legalism. Legalism says we earn our place in heaven by being good enough.

And here's the truth: you will never be good enough. But too many of us live like we can be, either consciously or subconsciously.

Watch for legalism in the world around you, and watch for it in your own heart. It is so easy to let it creep in.

Because Christianity is not a legalistic religion. We're a grace based religion, and grace is connected to the word for gift.

We are saved not by effort, not by obeying the law, not by being good. We are saved by God's act of grace, given to us even though we don't deserve it.

The Bible says something offensive and something beautiful. The offensive part: we're dead in our sins, and no amount of goodness could ever overcome them. The beautiful part: Christ has done for us what we could never do for ourselves. He lived the life we should have lived, and He paid the punishment we couldn't pay, by dying on the cross.
