Our mission is to nurture a welcoming and inclusive environment where discipleship is deepened, relationships are cultivated, and gifts are empowered for service. We accept our mission to share the Truth in this Season, and to sow the seed of love and hope; the good news; and making disciples for Christ for the transformation of our world.

Well praise the Lord Family! I must shout it from the roof top this morning. Our Youth and Young Adult blessed us mightily last week. God poured out His Spirit and we worshipped the Lord in Spirit and in Truth. The Word went forth! Who wouldn’t serve a God like that?

This Sunday is the 2nd Sunday after Pentecost according to our Liturgical Calendar and we are expecting another mighty move of God! There is a word from the Lord and my Sermon title this week is Break Every Chain! There is something miraculous and something supernatural that happens when we praise God in the midst of our circumstances, chains are broken and people are healed, saved, set free and delivered.

The New Testament Reading shall come from the Acts of the Apostles (Acts 16:16-26). Something happened at midnight when Paul and Silas began to pray and sing praises unto the Lord! The very foundations of the prison was shaken opening doors and loosening everyone’s chains.

No situation is too hard for our God!

Invite someone out to worship with us at Dale Memorial United Methodist Church. God is certainly in our midst! We will be launching live on YouTube at 9:45. The YouTube Links will be available on our Dale & Lee Haven pages. The Conference Call Line will also be available at 9:45, and the number is 725.735.9405. God bless you and I love you!

Well praise the Lord Family. This Sunday is Youth Sunday and Trinity Sunday according to our Liturgical Calendar. We lift up our youth this Sunday and I know that God will use them mightily. I am believing God for an outpouring of the Spirit.

Our Youth Pastor Jaeionna Saunders-Grant will preach her first sermon this Sunday.

The Sermon Title is….Why Are You Hiding & Where Can You Flee From God’s Presence?

The Old Testament Reading shall come from Psalm 139:1-8 King David communes with God and confirms God’s Omniscience. The key verses are verses 1,2, 7, and 8.

“O Lord, “You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways.

Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven; you are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.

The Gospel Reading shall come from the Gospel according to Matthew 11:28-30
Come to me all of you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your soul. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

Come out and worship with us at Dale Memorial United Methodist Church. We will be launching live on YouTube at 9:45 . The YouTube link will be available on the Dale & Lee Haven pages. The Conference Call line will also be available at 9:45, and the number is 725.735.9405.

Well praise the Lord Family! What an absolutely marvelous week we had. Our 242nd Annual Conference was followed up by two beautiful services. Lee Haven celebrated their Annual Unity Day with Rev. Darius Brown and the magnificent choir. He brought forth a powerful word from the Lord. Dale Memorial United Methodist Church celebrated their Annual Women’s Day and Dr. Lorena Whitehead blessed us with another word from on high.

I am excited to share this week’s word with you. My Sermon shall come from the New Testament Reading James 1:17. Title is ……Every Good and Perfect Gift Comes from Above.

The Epistle Reading shall come from 1st Corinthians 12: 4-11 and the key verses are verses 4-6. There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.

The Apostle Paul is explicit about the distribution of gifts to bring about diversity and unity in the body of Christ. For the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.

Invite someone out to worship with us at Lee Haven United Methodist Church! God is certainly in our midst. Registration is no longer required to participate at our in-person worship service, and mask are optional.

We will be launching live on YouTube at 9:45. The YouTube link will be available on the Dale & Lee Haven pages. The Conference call line will also be available at 9:45 and the number is 725.735.9405.

God Bless You!
