For Memorial Day Sunday, Truth Quest kids will be placing flowers at graves in the cemetery across the road from church. Parents, please help your student participate by bringing in an empty can and a silk flower bunch. Walmart or the dollar store are great places to find the flowers. Thank you so much for your help!

Widows’ and Widowers’ Luncheon
-Truth Quest (4-6 grades Junior Church)
-This an annual event that will take place this Sunday at the church. If your child is able, please allow them to help serve dinner and sing for this wonderful group of people. We will feed the children lunch before they serve. They will be done by 2:00. Please pick them up in the church’s basement at that time. Thank you so much for allowing them this privilege.

Truth Quest- grades 4-6: Parents, we have asked the kids to bring one empty can (regular or large) as well as a bouquet of artificial flowers to class Sunday. During class, we will be making bouquets to place on the headstones located in the historical cemetery across the road from the church. We will be placing the flowers on the Sunday before Memorial Day. Thank you so much for helping us get these supplies in for this Sunday!🙂

Enjoyed hearing from Dan Bussel about his missionary trip to Nicaragua to help the Bogards. (Dan has worked with the children's church ministry at the church longer than we've been alive- well almost. He is the "intimidating", retired police officer that has an amazing heart for your kids.)

The kids had many questions! "Do they have Netflix?" "Do they have KFC?" "Do they have zoos?" What do they eat?"

We learned so much about the Bogards' ministry and what it might be like to live in that area. They learned the average age for the Bible institute was between 16 and 20 years old. We learned that the many children that attended the church really want to learn about Jesus. We learned a 14 mile bus trip takes an hour. Dinner might be the chicken running around in your yard. Cars are few, and walking is the mode of transportation.

Pray for the Lord to call missionaries out of this group of young people! Pray for them to have a heart for the Lord!
