"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matt 18:20

It's been 3 and a half years since COVID-19 shut down our regularly scheduled lives here in Connecticut. I'm sure you found new normals-- having groceries delivered, working remotely from your home, using delivery services for shopping or takeout...

But when was the last time you stepped out in faith to gather in worship or prayer? That uncomfortable feeling is expected-- to come into a group you've avoided or neglected for a while. Or maybe never been a part of at all. But we are HIS church. We LOVE first, because HE first LOVED us.

Come join us on a Saturday at 5pm or Sunday at 9:30am to worship together. Our hearts open when we sing praise and thanksgiving to the God who made us and has a plan for us. Join in for 11am Adult Bible Study. Encourage the youth to stay for Sunday School (grades pre-K - 6th) or youth group (7th - 12th).

Join the LWML (Lutheran Women's Missionary League) and help the local and global community. Join us for blood drives (serving food or giving blood), or for serving meals at St Vincent dePaul. Volunteer at our widely known outstanding established preschool. Collect blankets for SOLNIT troubled youth. Help us stock up feminine products for abused women chasing hope. Help maintain (or improve) our garden and our grounds. Be a force for GOOD. Be Christ's hands and feet here on earth, especially in our community.

This is your invitation to return to your HOME, Grace Lutheran. Or come HOME to us for the first time. It's time to join us in person again. We are here with open arms. We want to throw a party for YOU.

"We must celebrate with a feast, for this son of mine was dead and has now returned to life. He was lost, but now he is found.’ So the party began." Luke 15: 23b - 24.

Our Grace Lutheran Church family is grateful that Christ died for our sins so that we can spend eternity with God when our time on earth has ended. Our deepest sympathies are with Lisa M, Marcia W, and all of her & Greg’s family & friends. May the peace of Christ comfort you.

All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the LORD laid on him the sins of us all.
