This morning some of our group got up early to come together for the Out of the Darkness community walk in Harrisburg to fight su***de! The stigma of mental health has lead to so many needing to be mourned instead of seeking help. Life can be difficult and sometimes feel so isolating that you don’t feel like you have anyone to turn to. We walked to raise awareness and raise funds to allow those needing help to have to resources available to them to do so. We pray that more people understand that seeking help doesn’t mean that you don’t have enough faith. You can have Jesus and a therapist too!

Last night we talked about the importance of Jesus coming to earth in the most humble of circumstances. His selflessness shows unconditional love for us beyond compare. This coming week we will wrap up our lesson on Jesus, Immanuel, "God with us."
