The school year is ending, and the countdown to summer has officially begun! Every Sunday in June, there will be a different theme for our FamKidz students to participate in, dress up, play games, and enjoy special treats!
The themes for Summer Sunday are:
Ice Cream Sunday - Special snack of ice cream and ice cream-themed lesson. No dress-up for this week
June 9: Tye-Dye Sunday -Everyone is encouraged to wear tye-dye to church. The student that comes in with the most tye-dye will be named the Tye-dye king or queen and receive a special prize.
June 16: Superhero Sunday (Father's Day) - Students come dressed as or with an article of clothing with their favorite superhero on. We will learn about some great heroes in the Bible)
June 23: Super Splash Sunday (Water Day) - We are splashing into Summer this Sunday! With Super Splash Sunday, we ask all students to come to church in their water clothes. Bring a towel and a change of clothes. Water games and activities are on the agenda for this Sunday. Please fill out a permission slip, which will be necessary for this Sunday's event. Dismissal will take place outside on the patio. )
June 30: Graduation Sunday - Today, we celebrate our graduating students in K-5th grade. This will be the last day we have our students in class with us before they move to their new classrooms. We will have a graduation ceremony in our classrooms and pray over the 5th graders going into 6th grade in the Family Room.
