Coexist - The Alternative Path.
We chose the name because that’s the energy we choose.

But let’s be real… you don’t just casually coexist. It’s not easy, and it’s not passive. It’s a mindset. It’s a way of moving through the world with patience and a real willingness to understand another human being. And yeah… it takes a thick skin.

Sometimes it means making boundaries, while not cutting off all communication.

We hear the same old line all the time:
“You can’t coexist with people who are trying to kill you.”
…well, no s**t, Sherlock.

But a thoughtful person doesn’t stop there. They look at history, patterns, and accountability and ask the harder question… why does it get to that point?

Coexistence means making space for different paths, different beliefs, different ways people understand the world… even when they don’t match your own.

It also means not operating out of fear or peer pressure.

And sometimes… it means trying a conversation instead of flinging s**t on a bullhorn or all over social media.

It means checking ourselves too.
Not just what we believe, but how we react.
Is it kind? Is it fair? Is it just, or is it just easy?

It means being aware of bias. It means not defaulting to stereotypes. It means trying to see clearly instead of just reacting.

And most of all… it means building on what we share, while still doing the work on what divides us.

It’s hard in this world right now. All the more reason to try.

This doesn’t ignore reality or harm. It’s about how we choose to respond to it.

That’s not weakness.
That’s work.

This is what our path teaches us. Blessed Be.

During the weekend we recorded a podcast episode on WItch Guilt with the coven. Upon having this discussion I discovered we share alot of the same struggles and fears. Fears of not being enough in our path due to the stigma placed on what a witch should be. We are faced with false positivity of have your own path. But if you don't do this than you are not witchy enough.Every day we are fed so many new views on the craft. How simple or complex it could be and what it should look like. Even though this look like is based on a personalized narritive that others find attractive.

Witch guilt is more than just the self imposed views that cause lack of confidence. Its a external force that feeds into the negative thoughts we feed ourselves daily. As someone who has faced a stroke and has depression issues I too have had my share of witch guilt. I've been asked numerous times why im not doing x,y and z or how come i stopped doing certain things . All while having the narrative of love and light and much healing to you. Sometimes I think witch guilt stims from our own guilt. The guilt of not having enough time in the day or enough straws to handle the load of what is expected of us.

Each of us has lives in which we lead and in those lives we each have expectations. Not only the one's set by ourselves but of those around us . Be a good parent, be a good friend, be a good coworker or whatever this may look like for you. Having those moments of weakness is frowned upon . Because in showing weakness we are finally admitting not only to our selves but to the world around us that we cannot handle it all. Its hard to feed the spiritual soul path when your world seems repetitive or bleek. This isn't including if you have any mental or physical limitations. Which some places do not nor care about you needing a break even in this community.

Even some of our own members in the coven have left other organizations due to the pressure and lack of compassion. Because we try to be all that we are but sometimes life and our bodies have other plans. But when it comes the the craft or god worships depending upon your path. Is there ever really a limitation or is it a self imposed limitation or deadline we give to ourselves. Is it feasible to honor every holiday or moon cycle. Do we have to do those daily tarot card pulls and if we don't does that make us less.

Witch Guilt is something that impacts not just one individual but all of us from time to time. I know personally my witch guilt steams from not being what I was or who I think I should be. I often wonder if i've let down my god's based on limitations. I wonder if my interactions with the community have been an accurate depiction of my gods. I write all this to tell you the reader if you are dealing with witch guilt you are not alone. You are worthy and do what you can daily. By being alive and even having discussions you are performing little rituals every day. You are honoring not only your gods/ancestors/spirits. By keeping yourself going each and every day that you walk this earth. Sometimes a simple making of a meal or the consoling of a friend is acts of devotion and witchcraft within themselves. For we are energetic beings filled with purpose and light and by each thread we weave we get closer to the great divine. So go forth with yourself and your craft and let your personal journey lead you to a world of wonder and fulfillment.

Great people and greater causes

Many of you are already familiar with our Secret Conjure Saints work supporting the local homeless. https://www.facebook.com/groups/secretconjuresaints45013

This time around, in addition to that work, we’re also collecting donations for Lighthouse Youth Services — helping kids and teens in our area facing crisis, homelessness, and unstable situations.

If you’re able, bring donations to our shop in Hamilton.

We’ll keep doing our part quietly behind the scenes. No spotlight needed. Just showing up where it matters.

Everything on this list helps. Even one item makes a difference.

If you can give, we appreciate it.
If not, sharing this still helps.

Blessed Be.
