FALL BIBLE STUDY- AM & PM Class options- taught by Pastor Amy
When:
Evening Class: (6 wks) Thursdays, September 3- October 15, 7pm-8:15pm
Morning Class: (12 wks) Wednesdays 10am-11am starts August 26, will have 6 wks in fall, 6 wks in spring
Where:
Evening Class: Online & In person. Online option: Zoom link sent with registration; In person option: Evangelical UMC, 157 E Water St, Middletown, PA
Morning Class: In person only- Geyers UMC- use lower lot entrance.
Cost: ~$6 for book/ see alt options in registration form

About the Class:
Have you ever wanted to read the Bible but weren’t sure where to begin? Have you ever heard the phrase, “but the Bible says…” and cringed? How does an ancient book actually connect to real life today?
Join us for a welcoming, no-pressure class based on Making Sense of the Bible by Adam Hamilton. Together, we’ll explore big questions in a practical, honest way that doesn’t leave your brain behind:
· What is the Bible, and how did it come together?
· How can we understand difficult or confusing passages?
· What does the Bible say about current events like suffering, science, sexuality, violence, justice, and forgiveness?
· Can there be different interpretations? Spoiler: yes.
You do not need to know the Bible, attend church, or have all the answers. This is simply a place to learn, to share if you wish, and explore alongside others. Come as you are—curious, skeptical, hopeful, or simply interested.
