You are worth more than your past.

Sometimes the hardest person to believe that about… is ourselves.

We look in the mirror and see our mistakes.
Our failures.
The things we wish we could undo.

But God sees something different.

He sees redemption.
He sees growth.
He sees a life being restored.

Your past may be part of your story…
but it is not your value.

In recovery, we begin to see ourselves the way God sees us—not broken beyond repair, but deeply loved and worth restoring.

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
Romans 8:1

Father God, help us to see ourselves the way You see us. Remove the lies we’ve believed about our worth and replace them with Your truth. Remind us that we are not defined by our past, but by Your love and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You are not bound anymore.

For a long time, it may have felt like the chains would never break.

The habits…
The pain…
The patterns you kept going back to…

But here’s the truth:
Those chains don’t have the final say; God does.

Recovery isn’t about pretending the chains never existed…
It’s about celebrating that they’ve been broken.

You are no longer held by what once controlled you.
You are no longer defined by what once trapped you.

Freedom isn’t just possible
It’s already been made available to you.

“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” — John 8:36

Father God, thank You for breaking the chains that once held us captive. Help us to walk in the freedom You’ve given us and not return to what You’ve already delivered us from. Give us strength to keep moving forward and faith to live in the new life You’ve called us to. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Keep going.

Some days feel harder than others.

Some days you take big steps forward…
Other days, it feels like you’re barely moving at all.

But progress isn’t about perfection, it’s about persistence.

Every time you choose not to go back…
Every time you choose to show up…
Every time you take one more step…

That matters.

Recovery is a journey, not a race.
And even slow steps are still steps forward.

You don’t have to have it all figured out today.
You have to keep going.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

Father God, when we feel tired, discouraged, or ready to give up, remind us why we started. Give us strength for today, patience for the process, and courage to keep moving forward. Help us trust that You are working in every step we take. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Sometimes doing the right thing, choosing healing, setting boundaries, or following Jesus can make you feel misunderstood.

The world doesn’t always applaud recovery. Walking away from old habits, toxic environments, or unhealthy relationships may cost you comfort, popularity, or approval.

But don’t lose heart.

Jesus reminded us that following Him would not always be easy… yet He also promised never to leave us.

At Celebrate Recovery, we stand together as a Forever Family, encouraging one another through the highs, lows, victories, and struggles. Keep moving forward. Your healing matters. Your freedom matters. And God sees every step you’re taking.

John 15:18 “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.”

Prayer: Jesus, when life feels heavy and the world feels against us, remind us that You understand our pain. Give us the strength to keep walking in truth, healing, and freedom. Help us not to seek approval from people, but to stay rooted in Your love and purpose. Surround us with a godly community and remind us we are never alone. Amen.
