Mr. Jesi goes to Washington!!!!
December, 4-6 the Police Assisted Addiction and Recovery Initiative (PAARI) will bring together law enforcement leaders from around the country for the third annual PAARI National Law Enforcement Summit. This year, we are taking our important, lifesaving national movement to the national stage in Washington DC.

We are thrilled to announce that our 3rd annual National Law Enforcement Summit will commence on December 4th with a special briefing with the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, located just next to the West Wing. This briefing will provide a unique and important opportunity to share updates and exchange ideas with ONDCP Director James Carroll and other representatives from the agency that oversees drug policies and activities out of the Executive Office of the President.

This unique event will connect and empower law enforcement leaders who currently run or would like to launch a program to prevent overdose deaths and create non-arrest pathways to treatment and recovery. The event will also feature multiple opportunities to meet with legislators and other national leaders to discuss how local law enforcement agencies can shape public policy in response to the nation's opioid crisis.

A huge “THANK YOU” to all those that donated time and money for this year's SHATTERPROOF 5k Run/Walk. We raised over $4,185 and had 35 people on STEPH's POSSE both running and walking the 3.1-mile course through the fantastic Franklin Park in Boston. It was a beautiful (warm) day and I hope we can double the attendees for next year's event!
It means so much to me to have your support, but more to Shatterproof that you are all continuously involved to help remove the “STIGMA” from the deadly disease of addiction.

Don't forget we are holding the 2nd Grieving Dad's meeting July 30th at the Flint Public Library in Middleton, MA 6:30 PM. Let that father in need know he is not alone!

We hold meetings the last Tuesday of every month at the Flint Public Library, 1 South Main St., Middleton, MA 01949 at 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm Father's that are grieving the lost of a loved one from addiction are encouraged to attend and share their stories or just listen to others.
