First Baptist Church of Middlesex was excited to celebrate the amazing staff of Middlesex Elementary School during Teacher Appreciation Week! Deacon Jerry, and Sis. Dianne had a wonderful time connecting with Principal Carey and staff while providing lunch as a special THANK YOU for all they do for our children and community.

To every teacher, administrator, and staff member — WE APPRECIATE YOU! Your dedication, patience, encouragement, and love make a lasting impact every single day.

🌸💖 Mother’s Day at First Baptist Church of Middlesex was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! 💖🌸

What a joy-filled day as we celebrated the incredible women who love, nurture, encourage, sacrifice, and pray for their families every single day!

A HUGE thank you to the amazing men of FBCM who served a delicious breakfast for the ladies and their families with such love and excellence! 🍳🥞☕ Your kindness and servant hearts made the morning extra special!

Our worship experience was powerful as the Next Gen lifted their voices in song 🎶 and our praise dancers ministered so beautifully through movement and worship! 🙌🏽💃🏽

Pastor Gary delivered a timely and powerful message entitled “Built by Mama’s Prayers” from 2 Timothy 1:5 and James 5:16. We were reminded that the legacy of prayer is priceless, and when prayer is demonstrated before the next generation, it leaves a spiritual foundation that can shape lives forever. 🙏🏽❤️

The smiles, hugs, laughter, and moments captured at our MOM photo station were simply priceless! 📸💕 Seeing families take pictures together and celebrate the special women in their lives made the day even more memorable.

To every mother, grandmother, auntie, bonus mom, spiritual mother, and mother figure — THANK YOU for your prayers, your strength, and your love. Your impact reaches farther than you know! 🌷

Our Next Gen showed up and showed out! 🎶 They lifted their voices in song, read the scripture, and led us in prayer with boldness and confidence. We are so proud of the next generation rising up in faith!

Pastor Gary brought a timely and impactful word: “Don’t Lose Your Footing” (Philippians 3:15–20; 4:1) 👣✨

What an unforgettable move of God! The atmosphere was filled with **joy, praise, and victory** as we celebrated our risen Savior! 🙌🏽

🎶 The "choir lifted heaven-high praise"
💃🏽 The "worship dancers ministered with power and grace"
🔥 Pastor Gary brought a life-changing word: “Jesus in My Flaws”

He reminded us that even in our imperfections, "Jesus meets us right where we are—and transforms us!" 💛

Be still, and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10

There are times in life when we cannot see what God is doing. We pray, we wait, and sometimes it feels as though nothing is changing. In those quiet seasons, it may seem like God is distant or silent. Yet the truth remains: God’s hand is often invisible, but it is never inactive.

God is always working in ways we cannot see. While we focus on what is happening around us, He is shaping hearts, opening doors, closing others, and preparing paths that we could never arrange on our own. Just because His work is unseen does not mean it is absent.

Many of the greatest works of God happen quietly—within our hearts, within our circumstances, and within the lives of those around us. His timing is intentional, and His plans are always greater than what we can imagine. Even when we can’t trace His hand, we can trust His heart, because God has never stopped working on behalf of His people.

Today, if you feel uncertain or discouraged, remember that God is still at work. Trust that even in the waiting, He is moving. Even in the silence, He is guiding. And even when you cannot see His hand, you can trust His faithfulness.
