🍂 HELLO, SEPTEMBER! 🍂
Welcome to the “BER” months — September, October, November, and December! The days will begin to cool soon, the evenings become a little cozier, and before long, the trees will put on one of the most beautiful displays God has given us. 🍁
As the leaves begin to change from green to brilliant shades of red, orange, and gold, may we remember that even the changing seasons are a reminder of our unchanging God.
The leaves change because God designed them to. The temperatures begin to fall because He set the seasons in motion. The beautiful sunsets, crisp mornings, warm cups of coffee, cozy evenings at home, family gatherings, laughter around the table, and all the little things we love about this time of year are gifts from a loving Heavenly Father.
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” — Ecclesiastes 3:1
So as we enter these beautiful “BER” months, let’s slow down enough to notice the blessings around us. Enjoy the changing leaves. Take a walk on a cool evening. Sit on the porch a little longer. Gather around the table with family and friends. Enjoy the simple, beautiful things — and remember Who gave them to us.
🍂 Heavenly Father, thank You for the changing of the seasons and for all the beauty You have placed in Your creation. As September begins, help us to slow down and recognize Your goodness in the simple things — in a cool breeze, a beautiful sunset, changing leaves, a warm home, and time spent with the people we love.
Lord, just as the seasons change but You remain the same, help us to keep our hearts and our faith firmly rooted in You. Remind us that every good and perfect gift comes from above. Give us grateful hearts, peaceful spirits, and eyes to see Your blessings all around us.
Bless our families, our church family, and our community throughout these coming months. May everything we enjoy remind us of the One who lovingly provides it all.
