We want to tell you about May's ministry highlights: Events, Hospitality Meals, and Kitchen Ministries!
𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
The Events ministry ensures that special occasions at Victory run smoothly. These volunteers do everything from checking people in to setting up the space and cleaning up after an event!
𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘌𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵:
• Many areas to serve, including set up, clean up, hospitality, and food prep
• Major events include Baptisms, Child Dedications, Coffee With the Pastors, A Knight For A Princess Ball, Harvest Party, and more.
𝗞𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻:
If you love cooking and preparing food, the Kitchen ministry is for you! This ministry works closely with the Events ministry to cook and prepare food for events. These volunteers serve in various ways, including cooking for special breakfasts, preparing food spreads, serving hors d'oeuvres, and more!
𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘌𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵:
• No formal cooking experience required
• Training will be provided
• Cooking and preparation of food is done in the Victory kitchen
𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘀:
If you have received a home-cooked meal during a time of need, you know what a blessing it is. The Hospitality Meals ministry cooks food at home and brings it to Victory families in need, whether it be after surgery, after the birth of a baby, during sickness, or other circumstances.
𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘌𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵:
• You will sign up to cook a meal for a Victory member
• Bring a cooked meal to the home
• Be a blessing to someone in need!
