"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." - Hosea 4:6

This isn't about not knowing enough facts. It's about not knowing HIM. God isn't calling us to just hang around godliness or ride on someone else's faith story. He's calling us into intimate relationship where we truly KNOW Him and are KNOWN by Him.

The Hebrew word "yada" means to know, to be known, to be acquainted with - it's rooted in intimacy. God doesn't want your church attendance or second-hand faith. He wants YOUR heart. He wants a real relationship with YOU.

This summer we're diving deep into topics the church often avoids: sanctification, holiness, salvation, God's grace. We're pressing in to truly know our Creator. Will you join us? Don't let the busyness of life cause you to gradually slip away from the One who loves you with an everlasting love.

If you are in need of bread, desserts, or something tasty for that special mother in your life make sure you stop by the tables in the Foyer THIS Sunday. We will have brownies, cheesecakes, cookies, bread and more. Everything is donation based, and goes towards Camp for our kids! We will have special homemade cakes that will be up for auction as well. We hope to see you there to help support our kids going to Camp!

What are you waiting for?

Jesus promised His disciples something greater than walking beside Him in the flesh—the Holy Spirit dwelling WITHIN them. This wasn't addition, it was multiplication. The same power that raised Christ from the dead now lives in every believer.

The Holy Spirit isn't just alongside you—He wants to live IN you to accomplish real purposes. He informs you, convicts you, gives you power over your flesh, helps you pray, counsels and guides you, and empowers you for service. But here's the key: you can't receive what you don't seek.

It's time for the church to rise above mediocrity and wait on the Holy Spirit. Position yourself. Prepare yourself. Press into God, and He will press into you. The promises are YES and AMEN.

What are you waiting for? Jesus left earth, but He didn't leave us alone. He sent the Holy Spirit—the Father's promise—to clothe us with power from on high. This isn't optional for believers; it's what Jesus commanded His disciples to do: "Wait for the gift my Father promised" (Acts 1:4-5).

The Holy Spirit isn't the "uninvited member of the Trinity." He is God—fully equal with the Father and Son. He's the One who convicts us of sin, empowers us to be witnesses, and helps us fulfill everything God predestined for our lives. Without Him, we can't accomplish our God-given destiny.

Stop overthinking it. Stop striving. Simply yield and receive. Come with hunger, surrender daily, and watch Him meet you exactly where you're at. The waiting has a purpose—your effectiveness as a witness for Christ.

Don't settle for just salvation. Embrace the fullness of what God has for you through His Spirit.
