Jesus asks His disciples the most important question anyone can answer: “Who do you say I am?”Peter boldly declares, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” This passage reminds us that faith is more than knowing what others say about Jesus—we must personally confess Him as Lord. When we build our lives and the church on the truth of who Jesus is, even the gates of Hades cannot overcome it.

We are excited to announce that our Wednesday Night Dinners begin this Wednesday, August 12, at 5:30 PM! These meals will be hosted by different ministries of Black Creek Methodist Church, and donations to support each ministry are welcomed and appreciated.

When we place our little into the hands of Jesus, He multiplies it for His glory and the blessing of others. The feeding of the five thousand reminds us that Christ is moved with compassion, provides for every need, and invites us to trust Him with what we have rather than focus on what we lack. God still uses willing hearts and faithful hands to accomplish extraordinary things.
