Sunday School for adults and kids follows our service from 11 to 12pm. You might know us as the "Church on the Green" or "that big white church." It's hard to miss our historic building on Rt 105... its stately pillars, its towering steeple, its massive windows. But beyond a building, we're a body. We're a community of Christians who believe the GOSPEL, love our neighbors, and "covenant in Christ"
to help each other grow and change. Here's a little about what that means...
WE BELIEVE THE GOSPEL
The Gospel isn't a "self-help" message or a "spiritual path" for your life, nor is it a strict list of religious demands or rituals. The GOSPEL, or Good News, is an amazing act of God... God sent His own Son, Jesus, to personally rescue us from sin. We are flawed, imperfect and essentially wicked people loved by a holy and perfect God. His incredible mercy sets us free. We long for Jesus to shape everything we are and everything we are becoming. WE LOVE OUR NEIGHBORS
We love our town and most importantly, we believe God loves our town. Our deep desire is to see our neighbors, friends and family set free by the GOSPEL. We long to be agents of renewal and redemption in Middleboro. At the same time, our concern extends beyond our town. We're committed to God's larger redemptive work worldwide. Our passion is to see the GOSPEL transform everything – our lives, our church, our town, and our world. WE COVENANT IN CHRIST
When we give our lives to Jesus, God covenants (or promises) to rescue us from sin and give us eternal life. We become His "covenant people" and other Christians become our covenant brothers and sisters. The Bible says we're a family. We help one another, pray for one another, encourage one another, bear with one another... We are a FAMILY of people - imperfect people - who are discovering God's promises together and seeking to grow and change.
