Alms House Cemetery is a town-owned cemetery on the east side of the railroad tracks beside the Ocean Spray Treatment Facility. There is a road with a yellow gate on Wood Street where parking is possible. Across the railroad tracks is the Infirmary Cemetery (the other town-owned cemetery). Alms House Cemetery began burials about 1831 and ended burials about 1939. This cemetery closed and was followed by the Infirmary Cemetery.
