There are moments in life when you must learn to encourage yourself. When you find yourself being everything to everyone, yet not receiving that same measure in return, it can feel like rejection. But this is not the moment to become angry—it is the moment to gain understanding.

You must recognize that some people, even those closest to you, simply do not have the capacity to love you into your purpose. That limitation is not a reflection of your worth or what you carry. It is a reflection of where they are.

You also have to discern that it is not that you lack what they need—it is that they have grown accustomed to environments where pity is entertained and sustained. Purpose, however, requires growth, accountability, and elevation—things not everyone is willing or able to embrace.

Guard your heart. Be mindful of how and with whom you share your intimate thoughts and emotions. Everyone is not equipped to handle the depth of who you are, and misplacement of vulnerability can lead to unnecessary wounds.

Encourage yourself. Strengthen yourself. And continue to walk in purpose, even when it is not understood or reciprocated.

From the Office of Dr.YBH:

What do you do when everything around you appears to be falling apart? What do you do when the very thing you once loved has become the place where your faith feels strained? What do you do when tears attempt to form, yet there is nothing left within you to give? What do you do when what you believed was a blessing reveals itself to be a burden? And what do you do when you are required to live out the consequences of decisions you once made?

These are not questions of condemnation; they are questions of honesty.
Scripture reminds us, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18).

This is the season—and this is the time—to fully submit your life to God. Submission is not God’s way of punishing us; it is His way of preserving us. Jesus Himself prayed, “Not My will, but Yours be done” (Luke 22:42), showing us that surrender is often forged in moments of pain, not comfort.

As you submit yourself to the Father, He will heal what has been wounded, restore what has been fractured, and then call you to serve His people—not from a place of survival, but from a place of wholeness. “Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).

Anything in your life that exists outside of submission to the Father—anything draining, misaligned, or harmful—must be released and canceled from this day forward, in Jesus’ name.

It is one thing to have a disagreement; it is another thing to sow discord among brethren. There is a difference, and wisdom knows how to discern it. Disagreement can be healthy and handled in order, but discord is divisive and destructive. We should not condone behavior that fractures unity under the guise of expressing an opinion.

Scripture is clear:

Proverbs 6:16–19 (KJV)

“These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him…
He that soweth discord among brethren.”
