As snow-mageddon 2026 approaches, the leadership has decided to cancel Sunday services for tomorrow, January 25th. There will be a special Sunday message available on the front page of our website Sunday morning - miamitowncc.com. Please join us for a Sunday reflection on a topic connected to our Acts study.

Please call around your “Pew Circle” of friends and let them know that we will not be having services Sunday, January 25th, but we will have a message online.
Stay safe and warm out there. Check on each other to make sure there is no one in need.

Due to inclement weather, all church services and activities scheduled for Sunday, December 14th are canceled. Please be safe, stay warm, and we will see you all next Sunday!

This would be a good opportunity to call all of your pew friends after exchanging numbers with them a few weeks ago. Give them a quick call or text just in case they are not on the prayer chain, see the church website or Facebook notification, or catch it on the news channel.

We are in the middle of a series, "Lessons of Faith in the Gospels." Those who act in faith are commended as righteous. The merit associated with faith comes after the act of faith. Don't confuse that commendation of righteousness as a prerequisite to acting in faith. There is no prerequisite of "status" needed to act in faith, to simply trust God.

When Jesus initiated communion it was a genius move. So simple, yet so profound, so comforting, and so reassuring. I have no problem addressing the tough subjects, but this Sunday I purposefully omitted them to avoid any "left" or "right" topics. In the wake of all that took place last week surrounding the assassination of Charlie Kirk I simply wanted all that listened to this message to connect with God through Jesus in the solace of the Lord's Supper - here is a small clip of the "feel" of the sermon - catch the whole sermon at www.miamitowncc.com

Miamitown Church of Christ in Miamitown, Ohio invites you to the Miamitown Historical Society’s Annual car show on October 5th from 8 AM to 4 PM. Registration is available for participants, and spectators are welcome to attend and explore the event. A concession booth will offer hamburgers, hotdogs, pizza, chips, soda, and water. Hope to see you there!!
