Impact exists to reach the next generation and create environments where young people can connect with God, meet friends, and help change the spiritual landscape of our culture. History:
Impact started as a youth summer camp in 1995 and has grown into a network of more than thirty churches and youth ministries that partner together to reach the next generation. Impact Summer Camp attract
s hundreds of students and is currently hosted at Camp Chatauqua in Miamisburg, Ohio. Around 2005, we added a fall retreat called Fall Impact to give students an opportunity to connect with friends across the region, get inspired and encouraged in their faith, and have fun on a weekend trip with their youth group. In the summer of 2016, after 20 years of ministry together, we committed to be even more intentional about raising up next generation leaders and partnering with local churches to grow their student ministries. So we transitioned our yearly leaders meeting into a full blown leadership conference for Pastors, Youth Pastors, Youth Leaders, Parents of Teens, and High School student leaders. With a multi-faceted vision to invest in leaders and encourage a movement of students for Jesus, we have recently began the process to incorporate and organize the ministry under the banner of Impact Next Gen.
