On Tuesday, August 19, Parkview Church hosted the Dayton Women in the Word Open Bible Night.

This month's discussion featured 2 panels of 3 women, all involved in Women's Ministry leadership, discipleship and teaching at several churches in the Greater Dayton area.

Topics discussed included the need for balance between discipleship, fellowship activities and service opportunities; having a Women's ministry support system; the challenges of Women's ministry; choosing content and curriculum, developing teachers and leaders; and the importance of filling our spiritual well.

It was an enjoyable, informative discussion centered on many topics important to women's ministry.

Dayton Women in the Word offers Open Bible Night on the 3rd Tuesday of most months to encourage and provide tools and training for women.

Their next Open Bible Night will be held at Hillside Chapel on September 15th and discuss the Discovery Bible Method.
