MVP Peace Corp — Gifts That Build Others Up

Main Point:
God gives us gifts to serve others and build up His Church—not to compete or seek attention.

* Galatians 6:4 — Focus on your own work instead of comparing yourself to others.
* 1 Corinthians 14:12 — Desire spiritual gifts, but use them to build up the Church.
* 1 Corinthians 14:1 — Pursue love first, then desire spiritual gifts.
* Galatians 5:22–23 — Our lives should show the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
* 1 Corinthians 13:1–3 — No matter how gifted we are, without love, our gifts lose their God-given purpose.

MVP Application

Character before gifting. Love before performance. Service before recognition.

For MVP Peace Corp, we should not compare gifts, voices, musicianship, leadership, or abilities. Instead, we develop what God has given us and use it to serve, encourage, strengthen, and edify others for His glory.

Prayer

Father God, thank You for the gifts You have given us. Through the Holy Spirit, help us serve with pure motives and genuine love. May our gifts encourage others, build up Your Church, and bring glory to You rather than ourselves. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Fruit of the spirit

1. Love — selfless, godly love toward God and others.

4. Longsuffering (Patience) — enduring difficulties and people without quickly becoming angry.

5. Gentleness (Kindness) — treating others with goodness, compassion, and

7. Faith (Faithfulness) — being trustworthy, steadfast, and committed to God.

8. Meekness (Gentleness) — strength under control; humility rather than pride or aggression.

DAY TWO - Prayer for Healing from Hurt and Betrayal

God, I confess that I have let people hurt me even when You told me and showed me who they were. God, I confess that I tried to control my life and not to give You full reign. God, I confess that I tried to handle things that You told me to release to You.

But, God, I thank You for redemption. I thank You for always holding me up. I thank You for purifying my mind, body, and spirit to do what You would have me to do. I thank You for removing people from my life before, and even after, they betrayed me. Thank You for giving me peace about broken relationships. Thank You for giving me joy in sorrow. Thank You for protecting me. Thank You for salvation and for discipline.

God, I ask that You help me to forgive those who betrayed me. I bind, rebuke, and destroy every curse and problem that keeps me from loving people in the way Your Word has called me to love them. I pray, Lord God, that You teach me to be selfless. Teach me how to walk in discernment and to exercise it with wisdom. Lord, help me not to stay in relationships that I know are not going to benefit me. I thank You for all these things. It is so by faith, and by faith so it is. Amen.

Ferocious Faith (5 Minutes)

Team Goal:
Today I choose faith over fear and obedience over comfort.

1. Heart Check (1 minute)
Ask yourself:

* Where do I need to trust God today?
* What doubt do I need to give to Him?

2. One Action (1 minute)
Each person finishes this sentence:

“Today I will show my faith by __________.”

Examples:

* Praying first.
* Reading my Bible.
* Encouraging someone.
* Obeying God right away.

3. Remove One Thing (1 minute)
Ask:

“What is one thing I need to let go of today?”

Examples:

* Fear
* Doubt
* Worry
* Negative thinking
* Sinful habits

4. Team Declaration (1 minute)
Say together:

“Today I choose faith. I trust God’s Word. I will obey His voice and live to honor Him. Jesus is leading me, and I will follow Him. Amen.”

5. Daily Challenge (1 minute)
Before tomorrow:

* Read one Bible passage.
* Pray for 10 minutes.
* Encourage one person.

Daily Goal

Trust God. Obey God. Encourage someone. Repeat tomorrow
