His Hands at Work We are a group of people who's hearts, are all about helping the needy!! We give the Word of God and satisfy the physical needs.

Michael Mena (Founder)
Michael Mena (Mike) is a proud dedicated husband with strong support from his wife Lulu on his endeavors. Mike was also blessed with three beautiful children whom all share his vision. Mike has made Calvary Kendall his home church where he has built strong relationships with fellow Christians. Mike's vision appeared in October of 2011, when he and his wife wanted to organize

a small event for the less fortunate children. A small barbecue event was orchestrated at a local shelter called Boystown, for kids who do not have a legal status. With Gods help it went from a small barbecue to an event that happens every month, with volunteers from our church and other local churches. Zoila Mena (Co-Founder)
Zoila Mena (Lulu) born out of a small town in Peru, Zoila migrated to Miami, Florida at the age of 12. Growing up in a metropolitan area with a huge population she singled out Michael. Zoila has been happily married for eleven years with Michael, and is a loving mother to Stephanie,Jonathan & Leah . Zoila accepted Christ as her Savior in 2011 with the encouragement of Calvary Kendall Church. Prior to joining the church Zoila endured many struggles in her life, Zoila believes those hardships were put in her path for the purpose of empathizing with other people's adversity. A life quote that she lives by: " If you fall short you do not have to stay there, with God's love you can prosper forward!"
Zoila has accomplished many goals throughout her life, and shares this goal with Michael on helping the less fortunate.

Many of you have asked me about the Christmas Outreach in Homestead, so here is the list of the items that we will need for that day, it will take place on December 25th from 11am to 2pm.
Items Needed:

TOYS,TOYS,TOYS
Disposable Cups
Disposable Plates
Plasticware
Paper towels
Napkins
Aluminum containers
Rice
Pork shoulders
Soda
Water
Bibles
Love bags:(soap,shampoo,toothbrush, toothpaste,sanitizer,socks)
LOTS OF VOLUNTEERS!!
We will also need to rent chairs, tables, and a U-Haul truck, so monetary donations are very much appreciate it!
This is an amazing opportunity to come together as a body of Christ, to make a difference in the community, and make a difference in peoples lives. Thank you all for your constant support!!!

This will take place on Thanksgiving Day, great opportunity to serve others on this day!!

Good Evening friends, as we are approaching Thanksgiving, we were pondering on the idea of doing something for the less fortunate on this day.....as all of of you know this past months have been though for my family and my self, specially since this time of the year is coming around. I have been asking God how we were going to spend this Thanksgiving Day and God being the amazing God that He is showed me what He has planned for us to do. So with that said, His Hands At Work and Semilla De Esperanza Ministries will be serving Thanksgiving Meals on the Downtown Miami Area.
On Thrusday November 26 THANKSGIVING DAY, from 11am to 1:30pm we will be serving Thanksgiving meals to 200 people living on the streets in the Downtown Miami Area. The location will be on NW 6 street and NW 1st Av, Downtown Miami.
If you would like to get involve and really get the true meaning of how grateful and Thankful we are to God for everything we have, what a better way than giving back and serve others just like Jesus did!!! We are looking for plastic cups, drinks, plasticware, napkins, english bibles, clothes, shoes, soaps, socks, shamphoo, deodorants, gallon size zip block bags. If you would like to come with us and help us the day of the event please message me as we will need lots of volunteers.

Hello friends, I know a lot of you have been asking me about our Christmas Event, we are in October already, it's literally around the corner, we have started collecting toys, clothes, and shoes, this items will be give them out the day of the outreach, this is gonna take place on Christmas day December 25, from 11 to 2, we will share God's message, we will be cooking for just around 500 people and our goal this year will be to give away about 350 toys to kids that live in the Homestead area, last year event was mind blowing!!! a lot of people came to know the Lord, and a lot of people saw God's love, I don't expect for this event to be any different!!! if you please would like to help us, we are collecting new toys, clothes, shoes and since we are cooking that day, we need sodas, disposable plates,disposable cups, any kind of donation that you guys would like to make is going to go towards the Christmas event, thank you guys for all your help!!
