Michael Mena (Founder)
Michael Mena (Mike) is a proud dedicated husband with strong support from his wife Lulu on his endeavors. Mike was also blessed with three beautiful children whom all share his vision. Mike has made Calvary Kendall his home church where he has built strong relationships with fellow Christians. Mike's vision appeared in October of 2011, when he and his wife wanted to organize
a small event for the less fortunate children. A small barbecue event was orchestrated at a local shelter called Boystown, for kids who do not have a legal status. With Gods help it went from a small barbecue to an event that happens every month, with volunteers from our church and other local churches. Zoila Mena (Co-Founder)
Zoila Mena (Lulu) born out of a small town in Peru, Zoila migrated to Miami, Florida at the age of 12. Growing up in a metropolitan area with a huge population she singled out Michael. Zoila has been happily married for eleven years with Michael, and is a loving mother to Stephanie,Jonathan & Leah . Zoila accepted Christ as her Savior in 2011 with the encouragement of Calvary Kendall Church. Prior to joining the church Zoila endured many struggles in her life, Zoila believes those hardships were put in her path for the purpose of empathizing with other people's adversity. A life quote that she lives by: " If you fall short you do not have to stay there, with God's love you can prosper forward!"
Zoila has accomplished many goals throughout her life, and shares this goal with Michael on helping the less fortunate.
