At Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, we believe there is only one God who is indivisible and has revealed Himself in different ways rather than as three separate persons. We believe that Jesus Christ is the full manifestation of God in the flesh, and that the titles Father, Son, and Holy Spirit do not describe separate persons, but rather different roles or expressions of the one true God. The Father refers to God in His invisible and transcendent nature, the Son refers to God revealed in human form as Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit refers to God’s Spirit actively working in the world and in believers. We emphasize that salvation centers on Jesus Christ alone, including repentance, baptism in the name of Jesus, and receiving the Holy Spirit.

The Father and the Son Are One
Main Text: John 10:30
“I and my Father are one.”

1. God Is One—Not Divided
Deuteronomy 6:4
“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD.”
From the beginning, Scripture declares God is not a plurality of persons but one indivisible Spirit.

2. The Father Is God Revealed in His Divine Nature
John 4:24
“God is a Spirit...”
The term Father refers to God in His role as:
• Creator
• Source of all
• Eternal Spirit

3. The Son Is God Manifested in Flesh
1 Timothy 3:16
“God was manifest in the flesh...”
The “Son” is not a second person, but:
• The incarnation of the one God
• God taking on real humanity to redeem us
John 1:14
“The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.”

4. Jesus Reveals the Father Completely
John 14:9
“He that hath seen me hath seen the Father...”
Jesus is the visible expression of the invisible God.
• The Father is Spirit (invisible)
• The Son is that same God made visible in flesh

5. The Son Operates in Human Submission
Luke 22:42
“Not my will, but thine, be done.”
As a true man:
• Jesus prayed
• Jesus obeyed
• Jesus experienced limitation
But this does not indicate a separate divine person—rather perfect humanity united with deity.

6. The Mystery Explained: God in Christ
Colossians 2:9
“For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”
Not part of God—all of God in Christ.

7. Father and Son Language Shows Relationship, Not Separation
When Scripture says:
• Father speaks to Son
• Son prays to Father
It reflects:
• Spirit vs. humanity
• Divine nature vs. human nature
• Not two divine persons

Conclusion
The Father and Son are not two gods or two persons, but:
• One God
• Revealed as Father in Spirit
• Manifested as Son in flesh

What an incredible three days we had at the Rosen Centre!

I want to thank the Lord Jesus Christ for allowing us to come together for a wonderful Marriage and Singles Conference. We were blessed with powerful teaching, meaningful fellowship, interactive sessions, and encouraging discussions that challenged us to grow in our relationships and in our walk with God.

From the outings and shared laughter to the dinner banquet and the friendships that were strengthened along the way, every part of this conference was a blessing.

Thank you to everyone who attended, participated, and helped make these past few days so memorable. It was a joy to see couples, singles, families, and friends connecting, learning, and growing together.

We leave encouraged, refreshed, and inspired, trusting that the lessons learned and the relationships built will continue to bear fruit long after the conference has ended.

To God be all the glory for all He has done. We are grateful for His presence, His guidance, and His many blessings throughout these three days.

We look forward to next year’s conference!

The Dangers of Being Lukewarm

Jesus' warning to the church in Laodicea is one of the most sobering messages in Scripture. A lukewarm faith can appear healthy on the outside while being spiritually weak on the inside. This message examines the danger of spiritual complacency, self-deception, and a heart that gradually drifts from genuine passion for God.

The greatest danger of being lukewarm is not open rebellion—it is becoming comfortable with a form of godliness while lacking true intimacy, conviction, and devotion to Christ.

Key Scriptures Highlighted:

• Revelation 3:15–17 — Jesus rebukes the lukewarm church for being neither hot nor cold and warns against spiritual complacency.
• Proverbs 16:2 — People often believe their ways are right, but God weighs the motives of the heart.
• Jeremiah 17:9–10 — The heart can be deceptive, but God searches and examines it completely.
• Matthew 24:12 — Spiritual coldness grows when love begins to fade.
• 2 Timothy 3:5 — A form of godliness without its power is a dangerous condition.
• Revelation 3:18–19 — Jesus lovingly calls His people to repentance, refinement, and renewed zeal.
• Psalm 51:10–12 — David's prayer for a clean heart and a renewed spirit reveals the path back to God.
• Revelation 3:20 — Christ stands at the door and knocks, inviting fellowship and restoration.

This message reminds us that God is not looking for casual Christianity or religious routine. He desires hearts that are fully surrendered, passionate, and alive in His presence. The answer to lukewarmness is not condemnation—it is repentance, renewal, and a restored relationship with Jesus.

In a world filled with uncertainty, changing opinions, and constant distractions, God calls His people to be deeply rooted in Him. A believer whose life is grounded in Christ is not easily shaken by trials, circumstances, or the pressures of culture. When our roots grow deep in Christ, we develop spiritual endurance, clarity of purpose, and unwavering faith regardless of what comes our way.
