Rooted in God — Unshaken and Unchanging
Arraigados en Dios — Firmes e Inconmovibles

In a world filled with uncertainty, changing opinions, and constant distractions, God calls His people to be deeply rooted in Him. A believer whose life is grounded in Christ is not easily shaken by trials, circumstances, or the pressures of culture. This message explores the strength, stability, and perseverance that come from building our lives on an unchanging God.

When our roots grow deep in Christ, we develop spiritual endurance, clarity of purpose, and unwavering faith regardless of what comes our way.

Key Scriptures Highlighted:

• Ephesians 3:17 — Christ desires to dwell in our hearts, rooting and grounding us in His love.
• Colossians 2:7 — Be rooted, built up, and established in the faith.
• Romans 12:2 — Transformation comes through the renewing of the mind, not conformity to the world.
• James 1:8 — A double-minded person is unstable in all their ways.
• 1 Corinthians 15:58 — Be steadfast, immovable, and always abounding in the work of the Lord.
• Job 13:15 — Faith remains steadfast even in the midst of suffering and uncertainty.
• Acts 20:24 — A life devoted to God values His calling above personal comfort or gain.

This message reminds us that spiritual stability is not found in circumstances—it is found in Christ. When we are rooted in God, we remain faithful through trials, unwavering in truth, and committed to His purpose no matter what comes our way.

Discernment Of Spirits

The Book of Matthew – Chapter 9

As Jesus continues His ministry in Matthew 9, we see a clear contrast between faith and unbelief, humility and pride, spiritual blindness and spiritual discernment. This message explores the importance of recognizing what is truly from God and discerning the spiritual influences that shape hearts, minds, and responses to Christ.

Throughout the chapter, people respond to Jesus in very different ways. Some receive healing, forgiveness, and transformation through faith, while others resist the work of God because of hardened hearts and spiritual blindness.

Key Themes Covered:

• Recognizing the difference between genuine faith and religious skepticism.
• Understanding how spiritual blindness can prevent people from seeing God's work.
• Discerning the voice of God amid competing influences and opinions.
• The danger of allowing tradition, pride, or unbelief to distort spiritual perception.
• Responding to Christ with faith rather than doubt.
• Developing sensitivity to the work of the Holy Spirit.

Highlights from Matthew 9:

• Jesus forgives and heals the paralytic, revealing His divine authority.
• Matthew is called from a life of tax collecting to discipleship.
• Jesus emphasizes mercy over religious performance.
• A woman is healed through faith after years of suffering.
• Jesus raises a ruler's daughter from death to life.
• Blind men receive sight because they believe.
• Religious leaders wrongly attribute God's work to another source, demonstrating spiritual blindness.
• Jesus looks upon the multitudes with compassion, seeing their true spiritual condition.

This message reminds us that discernment begins with a heart surrendered to God. As we grow closer to Christ, we become better equipped to recognize truth, reject deception, and walk in spiritual wisdom.

Demon Deliverance & Rejection

The Book of Matthew – Chapter 8

Matthew 8 reveals both the power of Christ over the kingdom of darkness and the tragic reality that some people reject His authority even after witnessing His work. This message explores Jesus’ complete dominion over demonic forces and how hearts can respond very differently when confronted with the presence and power of God.

As Jesus enters the region of the Gadarenes, demons recognize His authority immediately. Yet while the oppressed are set free, others choose comfort and familiarity over the transforming work of Christ.

Key Themes Covered:

• Jesus possesses absolute authority over every demonic power.
• The spiritual realm recognizes who Jesus is, even when people do not.
• Deliverance brings freedom, restoration, and transformation.
• Not everyone welcomes the work of God when it disrupts their priorities.
• Fear, comfort, and material concerns can cause people to reject Christ’s presence.
• A transformed life becomes a testimony to the power of God.

Highlights from Matthew 8:

• Jesus crosses into Gentile territory and encounters those bound by demonic oppression.
• The demons immediately acknowledge Jesus as the Son of God and submit to His authority.
• Jesus commands the unclean spirits, demonstrating His complete power over the kingdom of darkness.
• Those who were once tormented are set free through the authority of Christ.
• Instead of rejoicing over the miracle, many focus on their earthly losses and ask Jesus to leave.
• The chapter reveals the contrast between freedom through Christ and rejection of His Lordship.

This message reminds us that Jesus did not come merely to improve lives—He came to set captives free. The question is not whether Christ has authority, but whether we will receive His work and surrender to His rule.
