Covering our Hope Youth in prayer as they head to Camp Sparta this weekend 🙏🏼

Lord, go before them and be their guard behind them.
Keep their going out and their coming in, and lead them safely by Your providence.

Use this weekend to deepen their faith and draw their hearts to Christ, that they would not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of their minds.

📖 Psalm 121:8 — “The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.”

When doctrine feels uncomfortable…

Instead of revising our understanding, we are tempted to reject the truth altogether.

Apart from grace, we suppress the truth. By grace, we submit to it.

Join us tomorrow night for Good Friday and then Sunday at 11AM for Easter.

And don’t forget—next Sunday we’re having our Family Picnic right after service. Food, time together, and fun for the whole family ☀️

Some treat Jesus like the British monarchy and king 👑

He “reigns”… but doesn’t rule.

We call Him King on Sunday
but live like He has no authority Monday–Saturday.

We want a Savior… but not a Lord.
Grace without submission.
Salvation without obedience.

But Jesus is not a figurehead.
He is King, and He rules.

You don’t get Him as Savior without bowing to Him as Lord.
