3W Church was started in 2011 in Miami by our pastors, David & Patty Perez. Our pastors, along with their three beautiful girls named Abigail, Alexandra, and Samantha are a living testimony of the power of God. 3W Church exists to get people to acknowledge, trust, and lean on God daily. We are all about taking it outside the walls. It is the love, power and grace of God. At 3W Church we will encourage you to BE the church, not just be a part of a church!

August 28th landed on a Sunday 15 years ago where in the cafetorium at Bowman Foster Ashe 3W Church | Miami was planted.

Verse of the day:
God commands us not to lie. Lying is from the devil and not from the Lord, so when we as believers lie, we are not acting like Jesus, as we strive to, but like Satan, the father of lies. Nothing that comes out of the devil mouth is truth. Once we are saved, we should become each day more like Jesus, but lying is not of His character. As we spend time with the Lord each day, and seek the change He brings, our heart posture changes to become more like Him.

Challenge: When you are tempted to lie, how can you switch what you say to be truth and pleasing to God?

Verse of the day:
God commands His people to not bear false witness/lie. Lying is a sin, even when the world says otherwise or tries to justify it. Lying can be to self, others, or God, but while you might be able to pull on over man, God can never be fooled. He knows the truth and it will eventually come out because lying goes against God’s very nature.

Hebrew 6:18 says “so that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us.”

So when we lie, we go contrary to God but in reality we, as Christians, should strive every day to be more like God, and that includes not lying.
