Misiones Pax began on June 15, 2001 under the guidance of Dr. Marisela Jaquez having as its major sponsor Radio Paz 830 AM, first Hispanic, Catholic radio station in the US. Misiones Pax is a Catholic non-profit organization and our objective is to serve the needy in the area of health and do missionary work in Latin American countries. Misiones Pax is a faith-based organization committed to promoting health care through the volunteer support of individuals, organizations and medical health care providers that recognizes the significant impact of medical care in the most needed communities.
