🌎 Creation Sabbath: A Day to Remember, Rest, and Celebrate

Since the first Sabbath in history, God has invited us to pause and contemplate the work of His hands. Every mountain, every creature, and every detail in nature proclaims His power, wisdom, and love.

That is why, on the fourth Sabbath of every October, the Seventh-day Adventist Church celebrates Creation Sabbath—a special opportunity to worship God together as our Creator and Redeemer, renew our confidence in the biblical Creation account, and reflect on what this truth means for our lives today.

Churches, families, and individuals everywhere are invited to participate. Let us pause, rest in His grace, and allow creation to fill our hearts with wonder once again.

💙 Hope is more than a number—it is a child daring to dream again.

In Syria, Paulo Lopes saw children singing and sharing their dreams at a school restored by ADRA. Nearby, the agency helped restore clean water and livelihoods.

Even amid the financial challenges of 2025, ADRA served 8.6 million people worldwide. Its renewed focus remains compassion, service and sharing God’s love.

🏠 A knock at the door became an opportunity to share faith.

In Tokyo, a woman began worshiping at home with her children. A neighborhood boy asked to join, then returned with friends. About 20 young adults now regularly gather there for worship.

Sharing this story at Annual Council, Manuel Arteaga urged the church to listen to communities and shape mission around each city’s context—not a single model.

On October 22, 1844, a group of believers waited for Jesus with hearts full of faith. They did not see Him come that night, but they never stopped trusting God and His Word.

From that faithfulness grew a movement that is today the Seventh-day Adventist Church, sharing the hope of His return around the world.

We are still waiting. We are still trusting. Jesus is coming soon.
