Cornerstone House of Prayer will be meeting online today, May 19, 2026 @ 7:30 pm EST to worship, study God’s Word, and pray. We are continuing to discuss Soul Leadership by Dr. Steve Robinson.

Last meeting we talked about how we need to renew our minds by taking responsibility for our thoughts, rejecting the lies we listen to, and rescripting the story so that we are aligned with God’s perfect and pleasing will. At today’s meeting we are talking about triggers and how to break the Trauma —> Trigger —> Terrible Habit Loop. We’re going to review the story of Moses in the lens of his unresolved trauma and how he was triggered - which cost him! Like Moses, our past impacts how we respond and our response impacts our future.

Just like the apostle Paul encourages us to renew our mind, Soul Leadership gives us strategic ways to do that so that we become more integrated and less fragmented from our chronic stress and trauma. The truth is, we need to take care of our soul before we try to take care of anything (and everything) else. Recall what every airline safety announcement says before taking off...”In the event of an emergency, put on your own oxygen mask first before assisting others.” This is a profound way of viewing and living life. Take care of yourself before attempting to take care of others.

Jesus wants us to be whole, but we live in a fragmented and dis-integrated state because of our broken world, chronic stress, and unresolved trauma. Join us today to discuss this.

Today Dr. Mario will be sharing on Romans 7 with a focus on “When knowing what’s right still isn’t enough.” It’s through God’s grace because of the work that Jesus Christ already did, that we live under a new law - one where the Holy Spirit helps us in our daily struggles with sin.

Fortunately, we also know a God who sees all things, knows our heart, and tenderly helps us through.

Today, January 6, 2025 is the Epiphany - the recognized day where the Magi (the three wise men) visited baby Jesus in Bethlehem. Join Cornerstone House of Prayer online today at 7:30 pm EST to celebrate this and to worship, study God’s Word, and pray together.

Today we are building upon a voice memo that Dr. Mario recorded and sent out over the holidays about Pressing on Toward the Gift that is Ahead. We know that life is difficult and this world is broken, but we also know that Jesus overcame death and destruction of the world for our sake. We are going to continue to dive deeper into what the apostle Paul encourages us to do - press on toward the heavenly goal that we are called to and focus on our future instead of on our past or our failures.

We are wrapping up the Names of God with today’s focus on Yahweh Roeh - the Lord is My Shepherd. God is described as the Good Shepherd who leads us, watches over us and protects us. It is in this name that we courageously walk through the valleys of life. Our Shepherd cares for us and will always go after the lost.

Today, November 18, 2025 @ 7:30 pm EST Cornerstone House of Prayer will be gathering online to worship, study God’s Word, and pray.

We are continuing to study the Names of God, with today’s focus on Jesus as “Akrogoniaios Lithos,” the Cornerstone. Jesus was a fulfillment of the prophecy of the Old Testament, is our current Rock upon which we stand in faith and will be the fulfillment of prophecy in Revelations where He is the light and life of the New Jerusalem.
