Yesterday afternoon, the Bishop installed the Reverend Lorna Goodison as Archdeacon for Deacons during Choral Evensong at Trinity Cathedral in Miami.

Clergy, parishioners, family, and friends gathered together for this meaningful occasion in the life of our diocese, giving thanks for Archdeacon Goodison’s faithful ministry, leadership, and dedication to the Church.

Please join us in praying for her as she begins this new role. May God continue to guide and strengthen her in the ministry entrusted to her.

Happy Mother’s Day.

On this Mother’s Day, we give thanks for the many women who have nurtured, guided, and loved us with a care that reflects the heart of God.

We honor mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, and all who have offered wisdom, strength, and compassion in our lives. We also hold in prayer those for whom this day carries grief, trusting that God meets each of us with tenderness and grace.

May God’s love surround us all, today and always.

Today marks a special milestone in the life of our diocese as we celebrate the 11th anniversary of Bishop Eaton’s ordination to the episcopate.

Over the past eleven years, Bishop Eaton has offered faithful leadership, pastoral care, and a steady presence across our diocesan community. His ministry has shaped our common life and strengthened our witness to the Gospel in Southeast Florida.

We give thanks for his service and invite you to join us in prayer for his continued strength and wisdom as he leads us forward in faith.

As our Clergy Conference comes to a close, we give thanks for these past few days together.

From meaningful presentations to moments of conversation, reflection, and connection, these photos capture the life we share as a diocese. Our clergy gathered to listen, to learn, and to strengthen one another for the work ahead.

We are grateful for this time together and for the continued faithfulness of our clergy across Southeast Florida.

Young voices matter in the life of the Church.

In this Roundtable Conversation, Bishop Eaton speaks with Wilson from Holy Redeemer, Lake Worth, and Zach from Saint Joseph’s, Boynton Beach, about faith, belonging, and navigating life as young people in today’s world and in the Church.

Their conversation is honest, thoughtful, and full of hope for the future of our diocese.

This weekend at Saint Joseph’s Church in Boynton Beach, Caitlyn and Zach, two of our high school seniors, shared their senior sermons.

With courage and faith, they offered reflections that remind us God is moving in and through the next generation.

We give thanks for their voices and their witness, and we wish them every blessing and good luck as they begin their next journey beyond high school.

On Sunday, the Bishop visited Saint Andrew’s Church in Palmetto Bay for a meaningful day in the life of the parish.

We give thanks for those who were confirmed, publicly affirming their faith and commitment to Christ, and for those who participated in the Communion Awareness class as they continue to deepen their understanding of the sacrament and life in the Church.

We keep all who took part in our prayers and give thanks for the ways God continues to move through our diocese.

On Saturday, May 2nd, the Bishop gathered at Saint Stephen's Church in Coconut Grove for the Southern Deaneries Regional Confirmation service.

Candidates from across our southern deaneries came forward to affirm their faith, surrounded by family, friends, and the wider Church. It was a beautiful reminder that the journey of faith is never walked alone, but together as one body in Christ.

We give thanks for those who were confirmed, for their courage and commitment, and for the communities that continue to nurture and support them.

We now look ahead to the Northern Deaneries Regional Confirmations next Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Saint Andrew's Church in Lake Worth, where we will gather once again in celebration and prayer.
