Sermon Description:
When we receive Christ as Savior, we receive His forgiveness. And one of our greatest challenges is to learn how to forgive.
For us, forgiveness implies a setting aside of injury or wrongdoing, but the forgiveness of God is far more than simply setting it aside;
God’s forgiveness is a profound forgetting. That is, when God forgives life begins anew.
It is until our forgiveness embraces a complementary forgetting that we begin to forgive as God forgives.
Forgiving is not a feeling you float into; it is a choice you make. When we forgive someone, we are saying, “By the grace of God, this matter is gone.” Let us practice Forgiveness.
