Conviction without change is not repentance.

Pilate recognized the innocence of Jesus, but he lacked the courage to stand on the truth that was revealed to him. He had discernment, but no obedience.

The Holy Spirit does not only reveal truth to us, He empowers us to live it, stand on it, and respond with obedience.

Repentance is one of the greatest gifts God has given humanity. It is the invitation to turn from sin, come before a gracious Father, and receive the eternal life we did not deserve.

May we be a church that does not only recognize truth, but lives it with courage, obedience, and transformation.
