WE BELIEVE that it is God’s will that every individual on the face of this earth should live a healthy, happy and prosperous life. WE BELIEVE that such a life is within the reach of each one of us and the way to its attainment begins with the reali

zation that the Kingdom of God is within us, waiting for us to bring it into expression. WE BELIEVE that we can bring this Kingdom forth by practicing the universal spiritual principles handed down through the ages and taught by our Way-shower, Jesus the Christ. WE BELIEVE with Jesus that our experiences are the reflections of our beliefs and therefore the key to happy and successful living is right thinking followed by right action. WE BELIEVE with Jesus that the basis for right thinking is LOVE – love of God and all that is good in ourselves and others. WE BELIEVE that learning to listen to the whispering of the “still small voice” within us will ensure that we are guided into right action. WE BELIEVE that rather than devoting our primary efforts to providing for the needy of the world, the time has come to make available to all people everywhere a teaching that will enable them to provide for themselves by learning to release the divine potential within them. WE BELIEVE that the Universal Foundation for Better Living is a vehicle for the spreading of such a teaching. WE BELIEVE that a mighty new wind is blowing. People everywhere are hungry for practical techniques that will show them how to fulfill the good desires of their hearts. We in the U.F.B.L. believe that we have these techniques and we offer them to everyone without distinction, confident that with the help of the Holy Spirit, we can teach all who are willing to learn how to overcome whatever would keep them from their highest good.

On this Memorial Day 2026, UFBL also acknowledges, in addition to members of the armed forces who served their country, never to return to their family's embrace, the men, women, boys and girls, who served our organization, the Universal Foundation for Better Living. Their efforts built a firm foundation upon which we stand today.

While the list is long, we focus on the 3 persons who spearheaded the organization as Founder/President/Sr Minister or President/Sr Minister, or as the UFBL Teacher of Teachers/Director JCI.

Every one serving would have been a team member of one of the persons listed in this post. It took an entire team for each of them to serve as they did. Today, we pay homage to them all and their dedicated team members,

UFBL celebrates yet another round of Ordination Ceremonies, this time in Kingston, Jamaica.

On Sunday, May 24, 2026, the Universal Centre of Truth for Better Living - UC Truth, a UFBL member ministry, led by UFBL President, The Reverend Sheila R. McKeithen, J.D., hosted its Ordination Ceremony for 3 Licensed Ministers:

The Reverend Michael Sean Harris
The Reverend Jomain George McKenzie
The Reverend Conroy Bancroft Wilson

The Board of Directors presented gifts to the newly ordained ministers and the community of clergy from various faith traditions were in attendance to offer their support and congratulations.

Newly UFBL Ordained Minister, Shakira Taylor, of the UFBL center in Miami, UTC Miami, was also in attendance supporting her classmates in their ordination.

A reception followed that offered wonderful fellowship, food, and a time to meet the family of each newly ordained minister, as well as get reacquainted with clergy from New Thought and other faith traditions.

Memorial Day 2026:

UFBL Remembers those who served. All of them, including Veterans.

The origins of the Memorial Day holiday in the USA began when People of Color gathered in Charleston on May 1, 1865 to give a proper burial to 'Colored Union Soldiers' who had been buried in a mass grave. They dedicated the cemetery, "Martyrs of the Race Course".

Occasion: Ordination Ceremony for Mary K. Williams

Congratulations to Rev. Williams on her Ordination into the family of Clergy for the Universal Foundation for Better Living, Inc.

Her mentor and spiritual leader, Rev. Charles Stevens, was beaming and glowing as his student was ordained. And the congregation was 'on fire.' From the start of the service, they energy in the room was 'electric.'

A special thanks to Rev. Alberta Ware, Dean of Ministerial Training, Johnnie Colemon Theological Seminary for her presence and presentation of the ordination candidate.

To the amazing, Mrs. Juanita Stevens, who just 'makes it all happen' with grace and ease. Thank YOU!
