Harvest for Christ Global Outreach (HFC-GO) seeks to bring in the unchurched, the lost, the hurting, and the disillusioned. We seek those who are ripe and ready for an opportunity to produce fruit in ministry. We embrace those who are not ripe for ministry but are fighting hard to survive until their season comes; thus, we offer a covering and a hope in having a personal relationship with Jesus Ch
rist. HFC-GO uses principles and guidelines mentioned throughout scripture as a basis for it functionality and operations; particularly, the seven pillars of HFC-GO emphasizes Praise and Worship, Family, Loyalty, Compassion, Charity, Sanctification, and Industriousness. Praise and Worship: This pillar stands as an expression of our gratitude for the things that God has done, is doing, and will do for those who walk upright before Him. Since God rewards those that seek Him, we endeavor to diligently seek Him and worship Him simply because He is God and is deserving of pure praise and to be worship. Family: This pillar places significant emphasis on the institution of the family. We believe that a husband should love his wife and render to her due benevolence; and likewise, we believe that the wife should love and support her husband and render to him due benevolence. Since children are a heritage from the Lord, we believe that parents should not provoke their children to wrath, but love them and nurture them in the teachings of God. We endeavor to create an atmosphere for Children to honor and respect their parents, regardless of age. Loyalty: This pillar reveals not only our love and commitment to the work of Christ, but also the love and commitment we must show to one another. We endeavor to never trample upon our brothers and sisters and fellow laborers in Christ just to gain an upper hand. We endeavor to be helpers one to another and encourage our fellow laborers to be the person God has called them to be. Compassion: This pillar stands as a witness to our commitment to have compassion for others just as Christ has shown compassion for us. And as “…God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us,” we, too, will demonstrate, to the best of our abilities, compassion for those who struggle with the vicissitudes of life. We endeavor to embrace the wounded, the afflicted, the hurting, and the forgotten. Charity: This pillar stands as a symbol of our commitment of love and to support the work of Christ through our time, talents, and treasures. While we will certainly serve the needs of our own parishioners, we endeavor to support other ministries who embrace the truth of Jesus Christ. Sanctification: This pillar stands as a symbol of our commitment to live a life that is holy, acceptable, and pleasing to God. We see sanctification as a lifestyle that influences our day-to-day lives, to include our manner of speech, appearance, and how we interact with others. We do not past judgment on anyone’s lifestyle, but we do remain mindful that we are here to honor God in everything we do. Industriousness: This pillar reminds us to be diligent in business and in matters that pertain to life and godliness. We endeavor to be wise stewards of the resources that God has provided us, to include financial, human, and material. We will continue to seek ways to contribute and enhance the economic condition of our community.
