Last night, several members of our UTC family attended the PACT Action Assembly at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, joining congregations from across Miami-Dade County to help determine PACT's priority issue for 2027.

🗳️ Three important issues were on the ballot: Transportation, Immigration, and the Cost of Living. Following the voting process, "Cost of Living" was selected as the key issue.

We are grateful to have been part of this important process and to have had the opportunity to make our voices heard! 💙 Each issue matters deeply to our community, and we would have supported any outcome. Of course, this doesn't prevent us (UTC) from championing additional initiatives and causes that align with our mission. 😉

🚀 SO, WHAT'S NEXT?

🔬 The Research to Action Kickoff | 🗓️ Monday, November 9, 2026 | 🕖 7:00 PM via Zoom

This is where the exciting work begins, as we move from identifying the issue to researching meaningful solutions.

A special THANK YOU to everyone who attended and represented UTC, and to PACT for the invitation and its continued commitment to community engagement and collective action! 👏🏾

Stay tuned for updates as we move forward! ✨
