Officer Ashley Guindon, 28, who was killed on her first shift.
Authorities said Guindon and two other officers responded to a domestic violence call after a man allegedly shot and killed his wife inside their home. When officers arrived, the suspect opened fire on them with a rifle, fatally striking Ashley and seriously wounding the two other officers.
What made the case nationally shocking was that Ashley had been sworn in just one day earlier and was working her very first shift as a police officer when she was killed. The tragedy quickly went viral across news outlets and social media nationwide.
Before joining law enforcement, Ashley served as a corporal in the Marine Corps Reserve and graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a degree in aeronautics. Friends and fellow officers remembered her as driven, compassionate, and dedicated to public service.
Her story remains one of the most heartbreaking rookie officer deaths in recent U.S. law enforcement history.

Where’s mama to say it was “self defense” .. give these dudes the MAX!!!

Around 1 a.m. Friday, 17-year-old Samuel Davis went into the Classic Mart & 420 Shop and tried to buy a 99-cent to***co product.

The clerk refused because he was underage.

That refusal sparked an argument that turned deadly. Davis allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the clerk multiple times.

The clerk died from his injuries at the scene.

Surveillance footage captured the attack, and a witness identified Davis.

He was taken into custody after a standoff and charged with murder. His bond is set at $500,000.

A coworker described Davis as a regular problem customer who was aggressive and known to steal.

Yet another hardworking store clerk loses his life over something so minor.

When does this madness end?
