Last night, a few of us from Kehillah on the Beach gathered on Lincoln Road for dinner, Havdalah, a little ice cream—and, of course, some song with Rabbi Cantor Rachelle Nelson. 🎶🍦✨

It was a beautiful way to welcome the new week and prepare for today’s Open House.

As we move each week closer to the High Holy Days, Rabbi/Cantor Rachelle Nelson brings the ancient prayer Avinu Malkeinu—“Our Father, Our King”—to life through sermon and song.

In this second interpretation, she calls upon us to confront the sin of lashon hara—evil speech, gossip, and the harm our words can cause.
