💐Saint Anne with the Virgin Mary 💙
At the main entrance of our Church, we are warmly welcomed by a tender image: Saint Anne with the Child Mary, a powerful symbol of love, protection, and faith.

Saint Anne, wife of Saint Joachim, suffered for many years the pain of infertility — seen at the time as a curse. Both endured humiliation, yet never lost their faith. Until one day, an angel appeared to each of them, announcing that their prayers had been heard. And so, Saint Anne conceived Mary, the Immaculate One, chosen to be the Mother of the Savior.

According to tradition, Mary was born on September 8, 20 B.C., in Jerusalem. She was lovingly raised by Anne and Joachim, who instilled in her the faith and values that would prepare her for her divine mission.

🕊️ The image of Saint Anne guiding Mary reminds us of the importance of education in faith and of family as the seed of every mission.
She is the patroness of grandparents, of women who long to conceive, and of Christian education. She is an example of quiet wisdom, persevering faith, and maternal tenderness.

Devotion to Saint Anne is ancient, and it reached even more hearts after her apparition in 1625, in Auray, France, where she asked for the reconstruction of a chapel in her honor. Today, the site welcomes thousands of pilgrims each year.

📅 On July 26, we celebrate Saint Anne and Saint Joachim, the grandparents of Jesus — a day that also marks Grandparents’ Day.
On this day, and always, let us turn to Saint Anne with trust, as a child nestles into a grandmother’s arms — one who understands everything and intercedes for us.

💐Santa Ana con la Virgen María 💙
En la puerta principal de nuestra Iglesia, nos recibe una imagen llena de ternura: Santa Ana con la Niña María, un símbolo profundo de amor, protección y fe.

Santa Ana, esposa de San Joaquín, sufrió durante muchos años el dolor de la esterilidad — considerada en esa época como una maldición. Ambos fueron humillados, pero jamás perdieron la fe. Hasta que un ángel se apareció a cada uno, anunciando que sus oraciones habían sido escuchadas. Así fue como Santa Ana concibió a María, la Inmaculada, la escogida para ser la Madre del Salvador.

Según la tradición, María nació el 8 de septiembre del año 20 a.C., en Jerusalén. Fue criada con amor y dedicación por Ana y Joaquín, quienes le transmitieron la fe y los valores que la prepararían para su misión divina.

🕊️ La imagen de Santa Ana guiando a María nos recuerda la importancia de la educación en la fe y de la familia como semilla de la misión.
Es patrona de los abuelos, de las mujeres que desean concebir y de la educación cristiana. Es ejemplo de sabiduría silenciosa, fe perseverante y ternura materna.
