What happens when life turns upside down and nothing makes sense anymore? This Sunday, we explored the journey from disorientation to reorientation through the story of Thomas in John 20:19-31.
Thomas didn’t just blindly believe—he dared to look at the wounds, to touch the scars, and discover new life right before him. Like Thomas, we all face moments that shake us to our core. But here’s the good news: disorientation isn’t the end. It’s actually the beginning of a new way of being with God.
Resilience doesn’t mean never breaking. It means refusing to let that breaking prevent you from getting back up. Home isn’t a place we’ve lost—it’s right where we are, in any given moment with God. When we have the courage to dig deeper and stay with God through the uncertainty, reorientation is always possible.
Death and resurrection form the rhythm of our faith. Dare to believe that life can come after death, light after darkness.
