Camp Peniel is nestled on 100 acres in the beautiful and tranquil mountains of western Pennsylvania. The Brethren Church hosts three weeks of church camp during the summer and makes the facility available to rent during the rest of the year. It is the perfect location to have fun, relax, or just enjoy nature’s beauty. Significant improvements were made in 2014 at the camp including a newly constru
cted handicapped accessible lodge that sleeps 80 people, a meeting room, and a kitchen. Also on the grounds are four rustic cabins that accommodate 24 - 28 people each and the original farmhouse that sleeps 20 people. The camp also features a dining hall, a commercial kitchen, an indoor and outdoor chapel, and a meeting room with a fireplace. Any sports lover would enjoy the expansive grounds that include a lake for swimming and boating with a lakeside pavilion, basketball and volleyball courts, and meandering trails through the woods. This is the perfect facility for conferences and retreats, family reunions, bridal and baby showers, weddings and anniversary parties.
