📢 New Hope Church – Service Update

Due to the amount of snow that is being forecast and out of concern for safety—especially for many in our church family—we have decided to cancel church services for tomorrow, Sunday, December 14.

While conditions are not severe at the moment, we believe it is wise to be cautious and make the safe decision.

Please stay warm, stay safe, and continue in prayer and the Word at home. We look forward to gathering together again soon.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Before any of us sat down to a meal today, God had already written the Gospel into history—even hidden in the genealogy of Genesis 5. When you read the meanings of the Hebrew names from Adam to Noah, it forms this message:

“Man is appointed to mortal sorrow, but the Blessed God shall come down, teaching that His death shall bring the despairing comfort and rest.”

The Gospel didn’t begin in Matthew—it began in Genesis. All of Scripture points to one truth: mankind is broken, but God Himself came down to rescue us through Christ.

So today, remember: every blessing we enjoy—life, breath, family, food, hope—flows from the One whose death brings true rest.

Give thanks to the God who planned our salvation from the very beginning.
