We've been looking at Jesus' words around what's to come, looking at Matthew 24. The current discussion is around the topic of deception.
Matthew 24:4-5 "And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many."
What is deception here in Matthew?
By definition, it's the practice of lying or tricking someone into believing something that isn't true. In some cases deception can be self-inflicted.
Because Jesus' words were based on us believing a false teacher, we need to first look at the church and its teachers. From there, we'll get to society - home, work, country. Please join in the conversation from what the Bible teaches!
